Suburban Beauty

Neil and Kathy wanted a new color for their home. The existing greenish grey wasn't creating the warm feeling they wanted their home to convey. They also wanted the color to better complement the roof. In addition, Kathy wanted a good contrast between the siding and the accent trim.

Aside from a small crack on the bottom edge of a length of siding that required some sanding, this project went very smoothly. The only real challenge was reaching the peak of the third floor that was only accessible from a very steep second floor roof. We installed roof jacks and safety harnesses and used an adjustable roof ladder to reach it with a brush connected to an extension pole.

The crown jewel of the paint job was the deep burgundy red on the front door. Neil and Kathy were thrilled with the final project, and so were all of their neighbors. They even held a neighborhood party to celebrate the finished project.
